And then we were off to the airport. He's somewhere over the East Coast as I'm writing this. It's hard not knowing when we'll see him again. We have Skype, but it's just not the same as having him here. It was a nice long visit. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to be sad for a while. But not before I post my last view of him at the airport, just before he headed through the security gate.
In case you were unaware, the Girlie is here with us for an extended stay and the Boyo has been here on holiday from school for about six weeks. It is a very busy time here with lots of highs and lows. We are cramming in as much family togetherness time as we possibly can, without completely getting on each others' nerves. In two days, the Boyo will be back in Heidelberg and in a few weeks, the Girlie will go away again.
We are now rather consumed by geocaching, since we discovered that there are more than ten geocaches within walking distance of our home. The Boyo and I found five, so far, in our neighborhood. I found three in Pacific Grove/Carmel, while Mr. Celia played a round at Poppy Hills, and the Girlie and I found one mid-shopping in Emeryville.
Geocaching is a very cool way to spend time together. Family time together. So we put our own cache together and placed it today. Oh, we are having fun! Go Team Family!
