I'm staying in a little room in the hospital, where I can cook for the Boyo. He's doing as well as can be expected. The doctors here are very cautious about his release date, because they are worried about infection. So it is unlikely that he will be released before I leave. The Boyo is terminally bored, which you would expect in a normally active 23-year-old who has spent more than three weeks in the hospital. Not much has been happening, except for running errands, talking to doctors and trying to keep his spirits up. Not much more to say. Not really looking forward to increased security measures anticipated at the airport, but really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed, sleep being difficult here due to jet lag.
Happy New Year to everyone!
