It's after 1 a.m., more than four hours since John McCain's concession speech. Berkeley has erupted! Thousands of people are celebrating in the streets near campus. I rode up there on my bike three hours ago. It was like the old days, except in the old days we weren't happy and the police weren't tolerant. It was pretty amazing to see so many smiling happy people dancing in the streets.
They're still at it. I can hear it from my house right now. O-ba-ma! O-bam-a!
