Seems like it's been all about food this weekend. I have discovered a wonderful new place in North Berkeley called Socca Oven. Woody told me about it when we were lunching the other day. Today, I actually had time to try them out. Oh. My. Goodness. was I glad I did. Just look what I brought home:
Clockwise from the top left we have scallop & braised fennel, lamb & eggplant, caramelized onions & olives, and chicken & sundried tomatoes. It's like little pizzas, but on a chickpea flour flatbread. That's right, friends, NO WHEAT and NO DAIRY. And they are d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s! They smelled so good coming home in the car, I could hardly wait to eat them.

And now, to bed. Tonight it's all about sleep.
